Harry Kane ‘makes decision over future amid Premier League interest’

Harry Kane will allegedly not look to leave Bayern Munich during this summer’s transfer window despite the speculation surrounding his future.

SURE ODDS BANNER

Harry Kane has reportedly made a decision over his Bayern Munich future amid suggestions that he could leave the German giants this summer and return to the Premier League.

The England captain ended his long association with Tottenham Hotspur last summer in order to make the move to Bayern, and he has had an impressive first campaign at Allianz Arena, scoring 40 goals and registering 13 assists in 41 appearances in all competitions.

Kane has 33 goals and 10 assists in 30 Bundesliga outings this term, but Bayer Leverkusen have already confirmed their position as champions for the 2023-24 campaign.

The 30-year-old can still help Thomas Tuchel‘s side secure Champions League glory this term, though, with the club preparing to tackle Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the competition.

There have been claims that Kane is unsettled in Germany and already looking to return to England, with Chelsea and Manchester United both said to be keeping a close eye on the situation.

However, according to TEAMtalk, the forward is not interested in leaving Bayern during this summer’s transfer window.

The report claims that Kane is ‘enjoying life in Munich’ and believes that he is further improving as a player representing the Bundesliga giants.

The Three Lions skipper has a contract at Allianz Arena until June 2027, and Bayern are highly unlikely to let him leave this summer, having fought hard to bring him in from Tottenham.

Kane will allegedly spend at least one more season in Bayern, but a return to the Premier League for the 2025-26 campaign has not been ruled out.

Which English clubs would be realistic suitors for Kane?

The forward still has plenty of football left in him, and he will only be 31 next summer, when a return to the Premier League could open up as a serious possibility.

Due to his links with Tottenham, it is highly unlikely that Kane would ever represent Arsenal, but Man United are long-term admirers of the striker and would surely be in the hunt for his services.

A switch to Chelsea cannot be ruled out, nor a potential return to Tottenham, but Manchester City may reignite their interest if Erling Haaland moves on in 2025, with Real Madrid and Barcelona both believed to be interested in the Norway international.

Kane still has hopes of breaking Alan Shearer‘s Premier League goalscoring record, with the England captain on 213, 47 goals off the top spot.

Realistically, Kane could break that in two seasons in England’s top flight, and if he can win the Champions League this season and then secure the Bundesliga title in 2024-25, a lot of signs would point to him returning to England for the start of the 2025-26 campaign.
