Premier League predictions gameweek 13: Sainte vs. Sports Mole

Sports Mole takes on Leicester-based rapper Sainte for a Premier League predictions challenge in gameweek 13 of the 2023-24 season.

SURE ODDS BANNER

Premier League football returns in style this weekend, with gameweek 13 getting underway with a battle of the top two as Manchester City welcome title rivals Liverpool to the Etihad Stadium.

That blockbuster clash will be the first of seven matches on Saturday, with Newcastle United vs. Chelsea, Sheffield United vs. Bournemouth and Brentford vs. Arsenal other eye-catching fixtures from the day.

On Sunday, Tottenham Hotspur will attempt to steady the ship at home to Aston Villa, before Everton aim to start clawing back their 10-point deduction against Manchester United at Goodison Park.

The gameweek then comes to a close on Monday night, when Fulham entertain Wolverhampton Wanderers at Craven Cottage.

Each gameweek, Sports Mole is taking on a famous musician or band in a prediction competition, and this week it is the turn of Leicester-based rapper Sainte.

Sainte Q&A

Sainte press shot

How did you come to support Leicester City and what are your favourite memories from your time as a fan?

To be honest my parents did try get me into football at one point and I guess from there onwards Leicester just made sense because I resided there in the city. A memorable moment for sure had to be winning the Premier League. We’re underdogs, you feel me?!

Who have been your favourite five players for your club? (Historically or currently)

Hmmm not everyone may agree but personally I’m going to put the names of Kante, Vardy, Mahrez, Maddison then Heskey and Gary Lineker for the throwback!

What’s going on for you as an artist at the moment?

Some may think it was off-season for us but no way. I had been working on my project and other fun creative quests with my people but I’m back and excited as ever. Collabs both on the music front and also some exclusive surprises throughout the year…. Just stay ready and active for the YS family.
