Brighton have made an impressive start to the 2024-25 season, having won four of their five matches in all competitions.

They kicked off the campaign with a 4-0 home win over Everton, before they fell to a narrow defeat in their away clash with Manchester City.

However, they quickly got back on track with a commanding away win in their Women’s League Cup clash against Birmingham City.

The Seagulls went on to record a 4-2 league win over Aston Villa, before claiming a 1-0 victory in last Sunday’s away clash with rivals Crystal Palace thanks to Bruna Vilamala’s first WSL goal.

After winning their last two league games, Brighton now have the chance to win three consecutive WSL matches since October/November 2021.

Man United have recorded four consecutive wins without conceding to make a flawless start to the new season.

The Red Devils swept past West Ham United in their WSL opener, before Grace Clinton scored the decisive goal in a 1-0 win over Everton.

After beating Liverpool in the Women’s League Cup, Man United went on to clinch a commanding 3-0 victory in last Sunday’s home WSL meeting.

Summer signing Elisabeth Terland scored her first two Man United goals to give her side a two-goal cushion at the break, before Maya Le Tissier netted a second-half penalty to wrap up another successful outing.

As a result, Man United are currently sitting in third place and just one point adrift of leaders Manchester City, who have played a game more.

The Red Devils will fancy their chances of maintaining their impressive start to the season, having won seven of their last eight matches, including a 4-0 win in their most recent encounter in March’s Women’s FA Cup clash.
