Manuel Ugarte has handed the Red Devils a fresh concern, as he limped off the field in Uruguay’s 0-0 draw with Ecuador on Tuesday night, with the midfielder set to be assessed at Carrington on Thursday.
Amad Diallo was forced to withdraw from the Ivory Coast squad for his country’s October matches due to an illness, and providing that it is not a long-term problem, he should be available this weekend.
However, Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho will need to be assessed, with the pair withdrawing from the England and Argentina squads respectively during the October break.
Mainoo has recently been carrying a muscular problem, which saw him miss out against Porto in the Europa League, while Garnacho has been nursing a knee complaint over the last couple of weeks.
Mason Mount has been out due to a head injury and a knock, with the Englishman sitting out the matches with Porto and Aston Villa, and it remains to be seen whether he will be available on Saturday.
Head coach Ten Hag will address the media later this week, where an update on his squad will be provided, but Man United have a whole host of concerns leading into the vital clash with Brentford.
