Chadi Riad (knee) and Matheus Franca (broken rib) are both long-term injury absentees, while Trevoh Chalobah – a loan signing from Chelsea – is set to have an abdominal issue that ruled him out of last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Leicester City assessed ahead of kickoff.
Oliver Glasner named a strong starting lineup for Tuesday’s 2-1 victory at Queens Park Rangers in the EFL Cup third round, and the Austrian boss is not expected to make too many changes to his first XI on Saturday.
