Sports Mole discusses what to expect from Tuesday’s action at the 2024 Paris Olympics, including the women’s 200m final.

SURE ODDS BANNER

Day 10 of the Paris 2024 Olympics saw Great Britain put another five medals on the board, with Keely Hodgkinson ending the night on a high by securing gold in the women’s 800m final.

In equally dominant fashion, Katy Marchant, Sophie Capewell and Emma Finucane claimed gold and broke the world record on three occasions as they pedalled to glory in the women’s team sprint final.

Earlier in the day, Joe Clarke won silver just five minutes after Kimberley Woods won bronze in an enthralling kayak cross event, while Team GB quartet Alex Yee, Georgia Taylor-Brown, Samuel Dickinson and Beth Potter all picked up a bronze medal in a dramatic triathlon mixed team relay after initially being announced as silver medallists following a photo finish.

Elsewhere, USA’s Simone Biles concluded her Olympics in Paris with a silver in the Gymnastics floor exercise final, but she was denied another medal after falling off the apparatus during the balance beam final.

Here, Sports Mole looks ahead to the must-see events in Paris on August 6, as Team GB look to add to their medal haul.
