Liverpool have reportedly been handed a major boost in their efforts to sign Nottingham Forest defender Murillo.
The 21-year-old secured a high-profile switch from Brazilian giants Corinthians to the City Ground during the summer transfer window of 2023.
Initially under the stewardship of Steve Cooper, Murillo quickly established himself as a starter for Forest, often the only constant in an ever-changing back three.
The centre-back started 32 Premier League matches for the Tricky Trees, and despite failing to find the net in the top flight, he did manage two assists.
As he continues to develop and blossom into a top-tier defender, Murillo will not doubt be targeting a place in the Brazil national team in the future.
