Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today’s European Championship fixtures, including Turkey vs. Portugal.

SURE ODDS BANNER

Both pointless at the bottom of Group F, Georgia and Czech Republic aim to get off the mark at Euro 2024 when they meet on Saturday evening.

After both were beaten in their opening game, Hamburg hosts the nations’ first encounter in any competition – and neither can afford to lose again.

We say: Georgia 1-1 Czech Republic

Under pressure to win their second Group F game, the Czech Republic may find themselves caught out by an enterprising Georgia team in Hamburg.

Sagnol’s side have little to lose and a certain amount of attacking flair in the final third, so they can claim an historic first point at the Euros.

Seeking to secure top spot in Group F and progress to the last 16 of Euro 2024, Turkey and Portugal lock horns at Westfalenstadion in Dortmund on Saturday evening.

Both nations claimed maximum points on matchday one, with Turkey coming out on top by a 3-1 scoreline against tournament debutants Georgia, just a few hours before Portugal claimed a 2-1 comeback win over Czech Republic.

We say: Turkey 2-3 Portugal

Spirits are high within both camps at present and they are sure to be motivated by the prospect of claiming the three points they need to punch their ticket to the knockout rounds with a game to spare.

An entertaining contest with plenty of goalmouth action could be in store between two forward-thinking teams, who have also looked leaky at the back in recent matches, but Portugal boast the stronger side, on paper, and should ultimately find a way to come out on top.

A Belgium side reeling from a Euro 2024 giant killing clash with a Romania side on cloud nine from an unexpected emphatic beating in their second Group E affair on Saturday evening.

Domenico Tedesco’s men were stunned 1-0 by Slovakia in their opening affair, while the Tricolours put three unanswered goals past Ukraine and can now seal a shock last-16 qualification in Cologne.

We say: Belgium 2-1 Romania

As sensational as Romania’s performance was against Ukraine, they were aided by Lunin’s lacklustre display in between the sticks, and a Belgium side with a point to prove will no doubt be a tricky proposition.

While the Red Devils’ goals counter still reads zero, it is not as if they were starved of chances in their opening loss, and with a tad more intelligence and ruthlessness in the final third, we have faith in Tedesco’s side to right their Slovakian wrongs and blow the race for qualification wide open.
