Transfer rumours: Abraham to West Ham, Silas to Fulham, Dubravka to Saudi Arabia

Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer rumours, including Tammy Abraham to West Ham United, Silas to Fulham and Martin Dubravka to Saudi Arabia.

SURE ODDS BANNER

West Ham United are allegedly at the head of the queue to sign Roma striker Tammy Abraham during this summer’s transfer window.

The 26-year-old was restricted to just 12 appearances for his Italian club during the 2023-24 campaign due to injury, scoring once and providing one assist during a frustrating season.

In total, Abraham has scored 37 goals and registered 13 assists in 119 appearances for his current side, while he has a contract in Rome until the end of the 2025-26 campaign.

However, there is currently a host of speculation surrounding his future, and according to Gazzetta dello Sport, West Ham are keen to bring him back to the Premier League.

The report claims that the Hammers view Abraham as the ideal replacement for Michail Antonio, and Roma are willing to let him leave for a fee of around €30m (£25.3m).

Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur are also allegedly keeping a close eye on the striker, who managed 30 goals and 10 assists in his 82 appearances for Chelsea, while he also scored 26 times for Villa during a loan spell in 2018-19.

Meanwhile, according to HITC Sport, Fulham are leading the race to sign Stuttgart forward Silas during this summer’s transfer window.

The 25-year-old made the move to Stuttgart from Paris FC in 2019, and he has represented his German club on 131 occasions in all competitions, scoring 35 goals and registering 21 assists in the process.

Silas scored seven goals and registered six assists in 30 appearances at club level last term, and he has another two years left to run on his contract.

However, Fulham are allegedly confident of securing his signature for around £15m during the summer market.

Marco Silva‘s side are said to be long-term admirers of the Congo international, who is keen to make the move to the Premier League at this stage of his career.

Villarreal and Lens are also believed to be keen on Silas, but the strongest interest is arriving from Fulham, who finished 13th in the Premier League table last season.

Elsewhere, Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dubravka could reportedly make the move to Saudi Arabia this summer, with a number of clubs said to be interested in his signature.

The 35-year-old benefitted from Nick Pope‘s injury troubles to make 30 appearances for the Magpies during the 2023-24 campaign, including 23 outings in the Premier League.

Dubravka has another 12 months left to run on his contract at St James’ Park, but there is currently strong speculation that he could leave this summer.

According to ChronicleLive, there is strong Saudi Arabian interest in the experienced goalkeeper, while a number of clubs in Europe are also keen on his services.

The report claims that Dubravka is unlikely to make a decision on his club future until his Slovakia outfit have competed at the European Championship.

Newcastle are believed to be looking to bring in James Trafford from Burnley to provide competition for Pope during the 2024-25 campaign.
