SURE ODDS BANNER

In a pivotal clash at the bottom of the table, Burton Albion will hope to keep themselves from being cut adrift when they host Crawley Town at Pirelli Stadium on Tuesday in their 12th League One game of the season.

The hosts are last in 24th place with just four points and are four points from second last Shrewsbury Town, while the visitors are third last in 22nd place with 10 points after 13 matchweeks and lost 3-0 on October 26 against Northampton Town in their last league outing.

We say: Burton Albion 1-2 Crawley Town

Though both sides have struggled this season, Crawley are in somewhat better form of late and should head into Tuesday’s clash with a degree of confidence.

It would not be surprising if Burton conceded first, and while they may have moments of good attacking play, it is difficult to see them claiming all three points.

Promotion hopefuls Stockport County will welcome title hopefuls Wycombe Wanderers to Edgeley Park on Tuesday evening in their 14th League One match of the season.

The home team are 10th with 21 points and are two points from sixth-placed Bolton Wanderers, who occupy the final promotion playoff spot, while the away side are second with 26 points and beat Leyton Orient 3-0 last time out in the league on October 26.

We say: Stockport County 2-2 Wycombe Wanderers

Tuesday’s match could be an entertaining affair, and though Wycombe have been strong away from home, they have struggled for clean sheets on the road.

However, it is difficult to ignore the visitors’ exceptional overall form in League One, and it would not be surprising if Stockport were held to a draw.
