In their first MLS playoff contest at Citi Field since 2022, New York City FC host FC Cincinnati needing a win on Saturday to stay alive in the quest for the cup.

Cincy scored early in the second half at TQL Stadium in game one of this best-of-three series to claim a 1-0 triumph, putting them in position to make the second round for a third successive campaign.

We say: New York City FC 2-1 FC Cincinnati

NYCFC have plenty of experienced attacking players who can still make an impact, and we believe they will be decisive in this encounter, knowing that there may be no tomorrow.

Inter Miami can book a place in the second round of the MLS Cup playoffs with a victory over Atlanta United in game two of that series on Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Last Friday, the Herons hung on to a 2-1 triumph in the first match of this series, in what was their first post-season victory in club history.

We say: Atlanta United 1-3 Inter Miami (Inter Miami wins series 2-0)

It has rarely been a straightforward victory for Miami, but their individual quality always seems to shine when needed, and we believe that alone will be enough to see them eliminate the Five Stripes this weekend.

Minnesota United can punch their ticket to the second round of the MLS Cup playoffs on Friday when they host Real Salt Lake at Allianz Field in game two of that best-of-three series.

The opening match between the two this week went to penalties, where the Loons walked away with a 5-4 victory after the match ended in a 0-0 draw.

We say: Minnesota United 1-0 Real Salt Lake (Minnesota United win series 2-0)

St. Clair is on top of his game right now, and we believe he may be able to steal another match for the Loons against a frustrated RSL team.
