Barcelona and Juventus could reportedly move for Manchester United attacker Alejandro Garnacho during next summer’s transfer window.
Barcelona and Juventus are reportedly keeping a close eye on Alejandro Garnacho‘s situation at Manchester United with a view to potentially moving for the attacker next summer.
Garnacho, 20, has been one of Man United’s most productive players this season, scoring four goals and registering three assists in nine appearances in all competitions.
However, the Argentina international has only managed one goal and one assist in the Premier League, and he has not always been guaranteed a start this season due to the presence of Marcus Rashford and Amad Diallo.
The forward penned a new contract at Old Trafford in April 2023, with his current terms running until June 2028, but according to The Sun, two European powerhouses are keeping an eye on him.
The report claims that Barcelona and Juventus are both interested in Garnacho, with the pair potentially lodging £50m offers during next summer’s transfer window.

Barcelona, Juventus ‘both interested in Garnacho’
Garnacho only turned 20 in July but he has already made 95 appearances for Man United, scoring 19 goals and registering 13 assists in the process.
The forward had to wait until the clash with Liverpool on September 1 to make his first Premier League start of the season, although he has played the full 90 minutes in their last two league contests.
Garnacho was also used off the bench against FC Twente in the Europa League towards the end of last month, and he is believed to be frustrated that he is not a guaranteed starter considering his output.
The Argentine was one of Man United’s best performers during a difficult 2023-24 campaign for the club, scoring 10 goals and registering five assists in 50 appearances in all competitions, including a goal in the FA Cup final.

Should Man United entertain offers for Garnacho?
If Man United have any ambitions of returning to former glories, then they simply need to keep Garnacho.
Alongside Kobbie Mainoo, he is arguably the club’s most important young player, and it would send out completely the wrong message if the Red Devils signalled that they were open to offers.
At 20, it is only natural that Garnacho will struggle for consistency, but he has now proven over a long period that he can be an incredibly dangerous attacker, and he will only improve in the years to come.
It would not be a shock to see major clubs make contact over a potential move for the attacker considering his immense potential, but it imperative that the Red Devils make him untouchable.
