Man United ‘keep faith’ in Ten Hag despite Liverpool defeat
According to Football Insider, Manchester United have made a decision on the short-term future of Ten Hag following the weekend’s loss to Liverpool.
The report states that the Dutchman is in no “immediate danger” of being relieved of his duties as head coach at the Theatre of Dreams, despite a less-than-ideal start to the campaign.
It is understood that Man United’s ownership are willing to give Ten Hag until at least late November to turn the club’s fortunes around on the pitch.
With summer signings such as Matthijs de Ligt, Joshua Zirkzee and Manuel Ugarte yet to fully settle on the red side of Manchester, the Red Devils are looking to be patient with their decision over the manager’s future.
Following the first international break of the season, Man United return to Premier League action with a trip to newly-promoted Southampton on September 14.
