Independiente Rivadavia just about did enough to scrape a narrow 1-0 victory over Independiente in Saturday’s clash at Estadio Malvinas Argentinas.

In that time, El Gigante del Norte have amassed 10 points from a possible 18 to move up to 10th place in the Argentine Primera Division table.
A solid defence has laid the platform for Tucuman’s upturn in form with two clean sheets on the spin, while only three of the other 27 sides have let in fewer goals this term.
They will now set out to continue their recent resurgence, and standing in the way is an opposing outfit yet to win any of the last six meetings between the teams dating back to 2014.

Lucas Ambrogio is still without an appearance for Atletico Tucuman this season as he continues to nurse a knee injury.
Forward Luis Rodriguez has now opened his account in his second spell with the home side and will be full of confidence heading into Monday’s clash.
