The Selecao are bidding to reassert themselves as the dominant force in South American football, having seen bitter rivals Argentina claim the most recent Copa America crown in 2021, before reaching even greater heights to win the World Cup one year later.
Brazil have won five of the last 10 editions of the tournament, but remain some way behind both Argentina and Uruguay in the all-time list of most successful nations in Copa America history.
That is despite boasting some of the greatest players in football history down the years, many of whom have been adorned with the famous number 10 shirt.
One of their newest stars currently boasts the honour of wearing that number during the 2024 Copa America, having joined an illustrious list of luminaries to have previously been bestowed with arguably the most iconic shirt in football.
