Lyon, Marseille and Besiktas are all reportedly keen to sign Manchester United forward Anthony Martial when he becomes a free agent this summer.
Lyon, Marseille and Besiktas are all reportedly interested in signing departing Manchester United forward Anthony Martial.
The Frenchman has spent most of the last nine years at Old Trafford after arriving from Monaco for an initial £36m in 2015.
A 19-year-old Martial arrived with great expectations, but he has been unable to live up to that potential due to poor form and injuries.
After falling out of favour, Martial joined Sevilla on loan for the second half of the 2021-22 season, before returning to Old Trafford for Erik ten Hag‘s first campaign as Man United manager.
The Dutchman was seemingly keen to give Martial the opportunity to impress, but a number of injury issues have restricted Martial’s playing time over the last two seasons.
Earlier this week, Martial confirmed that he will part ways with Man United when his contract expires at the end of June.

Lyon, Marseille, Besiktas among Martial’s suitors
Having been sidelined since December, Martial is now searching for a new home where he can return to full fitness and gain regular game time.
According to Sky Sports News, Lyon, Marseille and Besiktas are showing an interest in signing Martial on a free transfer this summer.
The 28-year-old will be familiar with Lyon after spending time in the club’s academy before going on to make four appearances for the first team.
Lyon and Marseille can both offer Martial the chance to return to his homeland, although the latter may be at a disadvantage after failing to secure European football.
Meanwhile, Besiktas will be in the Europa League playoff round after winning the Turkish Cup, and they can give Martial the opportunity to try his luck in a new league.

Martial to consider his options
The former France international is believed to be attracting interest from elsewhere, with the Saudi Pro League willing to present Martial with a contract offer.
Clubs from the MLS and Liga MX are also keen to present him with proposals, as they look to lure the striker to their respective leagues.
With a number of options on the table, the Man United forward is expected to take his time before he makes a final decision on his next destination.
Martial will bid farewell to Man United after scoring 90 goals and providing 47 assists in 317 appearances in all competitions.
